Does anybody still make the fake battery tops that you put on your new battery to make it look more like an original? Seems like I saw an ad some time ago but wasn't interested then. Do you drill the holes for the battery posts or are they already there? Would like a repro but probably a little pricey for me right now and my car is not a show car anyway. Thanks for any help.

Dumb question maybe, but since holes for posts are already there, does that mean that all batteries in the same group size have posts the same distance apart? Thanks for the fast replies!

I,ve got one on my car, just have to look for a batt with the posts on the eng. side with a flat top. Of course the right size.Check to see what color caps are right for your car. I got bat. from NAPA. Just take top and look around or measure.
