Well, I'm upgrading the cooling system again.
Going to use a Griffin Performance Exact Fit radiator #5-00004 (Manual trans, no trans cooler in radiator.)
They list this as a two core radiator with 1.25" cooling tubes, and a core thickness of 2.68".
This is replacing a Chapman Radiator. I think it may be a four core, but will have to check. It cooled OK, but after adding the A/C, it can't keep up with the extra heat. Better cooling fans might help, but I'm swapping the whole system to a different project.
The Chapman uses 0.63" tubes (x4 = 2.52") which seems about the same total at the two 1.25" tubes in the Griffin Radiator 2.50"?, but the Chapman core is 3.13" thick, and I am currently really tight on the cooling fans to water pump clearance.
Also, the thinner core should allow better airflow through the radiator?

I am also changing out the cooling fan setup. Currently using the Ford Contour dual fan setup, but I'm going to keep that on the Chapman Radiator and put in the other car.
Looking at good flowing and thin fans, I going to use dual BeCool 13" pullers (1,250 cfm each), and a BeCool pusher (1,710 cfm) in front of the A/C condenser. Total air flow 4,210 cfm? I know I won't see all that flow through the radiator, but I think it should work. All the fans will be controlled from the EFI computer through relays, and the A/C pusher most likely will only be used when the A/C is on, or the engine gets above about 200-degrees? TBD once I get everything installed and programmed.

I hope this keeps the engine cool on hot days when using the A/C?

I'm using the 70058, very happy with the fit in the car. I stayed with original shroud and MP fan

I absolutely love my Griffin Radiator! I am running a 440 with over 500hp (no A/C) and stock fan shroud and fan clutch and fan blade. My car never gets hot, even on California’s 110* days. Run 180*.

I'm running the Griffin on my 70 Challenger. The radiator keeps my 650 hp 528 hemi cool.

I've had a griffin in mine for over almost 15 years. No issues yet, although the epoxy-glued in core makes me a bit nervous. I keep thinking one day it will deteriorate and crack. If it does, I suppose I've got my time out of this one anyway. I run a dual spal fan assembly, controlled by the efi. I don't have overheating problems either.
