OK, thats possible. But in the area closer to firewall, I regularly dry up the gas after giving it shot to carburetor, so it might be burn out remaining gas, too.

that would be your cheapest option.

These guys can get most of the rest of any parts you might need for your original carb.

Thanks for info about the throttleshaft, did not know about this option. But still, with the price around 150USD for this kit + other parts required, the total costs might be equal to brand new carburetor.

I run the 625 Street Demon on a slightly warmer-than-stock 383 with the plain Performer intake and am very happy with the result. Plan on running a fuel pressure regulator if you go this way as the Street Demon is sensitive to higher than recommended pressure.

The kit comes with 10 bushings, you need two, that leaves 4 other carbs you could bush to help defray the cost. Just a thought.

I know being in Europe costs are higher than here for shipping, customs, taxes, etc. Don't see a way to cut costs for you though.

They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

If you are not doing any engine upgrades, cam, pistons etc,I "assume" it worked pretty well the way it was built. stirthepot

Bill makes a good point......

Also, before you assume the throttle shafts/bores are worn and possibly causing a problem, keep in mind that while re bushing the bores is a standard part of my restoration procedure, most carbs do not have enough wear to cause an issue so it's not usually necessary.

Hello everyone. I was drifted away with work, apologize coming back to topic so late.

Last week I was able to catch last summer night and went cruising with top down. Car works great, burbling throw TTI duals in down town, I took my parents as passengers. With 4 people on board, it might have some more power. But in fact, I usually push pedal to the metal when driving solo only. And then, there is enough of power.

Long story short, thank you for all the help with selecting parts, I hope it will be helpful for somebody else. I have decided to stay with 2 barrel rebuild carburetor. I will give a shot to carb sold over ebay, posted few posts above and the car will stay the way, it was build.

For me, it means less work and more driving! And now, will share my mopar with you :-)
