I am running the stock fresh air 4bl air cleaner on my 69 RR. The 5/8 breather tube runs from the air cleaner to the breather on the drivers side. Was there not a filter on the inlet of this 5/8 hose at the air filter? I do see some steel mesh inside the breather. It looks like the 5/8 tube is not filtered from the air filter element.

Should I be running a pcv on my big block stroker that is being used only on the street? Motor makes around 600hp. Any specific pcv to run or just buy one at any auto parts store for my specific vehicle ?

Nope, no other element.

I was thinking the pvc was in the passenger side valve cover.

Yes the pcv will be located on the passenger side.

Pcv goes to the carb, not the air cleaner...

The PCV hose shuld go to the back of the carb. so it sees manifold vacume all the time, that is the only way it will pull a vacume through the motor The air inlet hose to the valve covers from te air cleaner on stock Mopars don't have a filter, shame on Ma Mopar for not running that hose to the inside of the air cleaner for filtered air

Thanks, I was going to run open breathers, but I guess it is better to run a pcv.
