Hello,

After our '67 300 is driven for a while it seems that the power steering causes a vibration when turning the wheel right. I assume this issue is in the box due to it only being in one direction. My plan is to replace or rebuild the box. Is there anything I can check prior to pulling everything apart?

Thanks!

I have had "pulsating" feeling steering issues appear when turning in one direction 2 times in the past. Once was an outer tie rod falling apart and the other time the power steering belt was a little too loose. The loose belt only pulsated when turning left for some reason and never made any noise like you would expect a loose belt to.

Check the dumb simple stuff first before buying a new box or pump.

Thanks, I'll pull the front wheels off and have a look this weekend.
