Got my carpet installed yesterday. Bought an ACC carpet kit which has been the standard for my cars for years. I was a little disappointment with the fit. The carpet seemed to be cut a little short. The guy installing the carpet made it work. Anyone else have a problem with ACC carpet fitment?

I bought a set for the hot rod from Rock Auto. The fit was rather poor. I can't fuss too much since I had replaced both front floor pans and built much of the tunnel by hand.

I used an ACC supposedly off-the-shelf carpet set when I restored my 59 Plymouth Fury. Fit on the transmission tunnel was very loose, fit on both sides of the front seat (area between the door sill plates and the seat)was very bad on the driver's side. The trim shop guy had to cut, steam, and sew to get it even remotely close. Nowhere close to the original pattern; fortunately, the below-the-dash air conditioner hides most of the issues on the trans hump.

I bought one @ the NATS but I won't know about the fit for a while,I was going to order one from ECS but got sucked in on the show special price $120.

I bought one for my truck a while ago, haven't installed it yet. They used to be pretty good, are they slipping in quality?

I think it's more of a cost cutting thing. Seems the material was cut too short. In the past the was enough material to allow for proper figment and trimming. This carpet needed a lot of messaging.

If I'm remembering right, I used one on my 67 Dart. It was my first time ever installing a carpet. It ended up not far enough up.. lousy memory, but I also thought it wasn't long enough.
