I've had very good luck with Bill Hirsch engine paints.They seem to hold up very well and doesn't burn off the intake crossover like most others. John.

Out of the three rattle cans that you mentioned, I have had the best luck with Plastikote (bought out VHT ) 226. I have used the VHT paint on everyone of my vehicles and have had nothing but great results. The proper key is to make sure you prep the area very well for any paint. Any grease, grime, oily film, etc will cause nothing but problems for you.

Jeff when I freshened the Demon's Engine the MP stuff had the best color and the Plasticoat always works well but a little lighter. The now a days MP stuff is what I would use if you have to spray can it. Ron

The mopar performance orange paint must have been improved. The paint I was getting in the nineties was a milky orange. I found the plasticoat hemi orange and went with that since. Yes it has, I was surprised myself too. See my picture above. Ron
