1971 only, and thicker diameter than the E and C bodies which are currently reproduced. Any idea where I can locate one of these? Did they start reproducing these recently? Help.

Found a jam switch on Mega's web site, but it's the smaller one used on e-bodies. I need the larger diameter one for b-bodies.

Possible. I don't think it's pipe thread. I have the smaller 2-prong that fits losely into the hole

Rock Auto shows a single and a dual connection door jamb switch for 71 Chargers. With pictures. The single is the same part number for B or E body. The dual is not listed under the E body listing.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

Mine is three prong. I would prefer not to cut the wires.

Supercuda, I checked out rockauto, none of those pictures looks like the one I need unfortunately. Thanks for checking.

Got it. Now I have to decide to pay the premium. The e-body repops are $18 and the NOS one is $65. Bummer.
