We are in the process of finishing up our road runner and it's time to detail the grill. I have seen people with them totally blacked out and some that look to have what appears to be a argent silver around the edge. Which is correct and does anyone have recommendations on paint and prep technique?

Thanks for the info! The originals had already been painted black (very poor job!) so I couldn't tell what they were like originally.
