The red on a metal dash of a 67 cuda. What was or is used?

If anything like '68/69 B bodies it would be "suede" texture. You'll have to hear the color from someone else.

Wondering what it might look like if we do the dash the same color as door areas & 1/4 trim areas but only in a satin finish? The dash panel was not the same color of the actual metallic red on the doors. Car is not getting a true factory restoration in that the customer will be putting a 360 that was in the car when he bought it. Car will be solid red on the outside along with white interior from legendary. what are the views?

67 "red" is like a dark red. Not like 69/70 Red interior.

The metal dash frame and glove box are that textured finish and do not match any other pieces in the car. contrast actually looks better than everything being "whitewashed" with the same color/sheen/texture.

So is the steering column the same suede texture as the dash frame? I was able to locate the 68 red but its a little darker than the original was so I am getting my jobber to tint it closer. Column does feed like it was textured before though.

The metal parts on the column are same a metal parts on dash. Sorry should have mentioned that in previous post.
