I bought some E Body reproduction sunvisors off of an auction site. N They were made by REM. I also bought some E Body convertible latch catch plates offof the same auction website that had the sunvisor rods and hardware. Now all I have to buy is the rubber tips but it looks like I'm missing something. Does anybody know how the rubber tips attach to the sunvisors? Are the rods I have too short?

You are missing the rod end that goes into the other end of the visor.
The rubber tips attach to a rod that sticks out the other end from the latch plate end you are showing in the photo.

So where do I find those? My '70 Barracuda convertible didn't have sunvisors when I bought it in '85. Are the rods I don't have the same for a hardtop?

Looks to me like you have convertible rods and hard top visors, vertible visors are shorter and don't attach the mirror, if I remember correctly......if you decide to sell the visors, pm me....

They are convertible rods. The sunvisors auction item description said they are E Body convertible sunvisors. They fit between the latch catch plates and the rear view mirror base.

Those look like convertible visors to me also. Somebody has a a set in the e-body FS forum. The rods the rubber tips go on are short, and go in from the rearview mirror end. I'll look as I have some ratty visors. I may be able to snap pics.

Does anybody have a picture of these short rods? Does anybody know of a place that sells these short rods? When I bought my Barracuda convertible it was missing the sunvisors. I'm trying to put some sunvisors back on it.

I doubt anybody repops them. I'm gonna suggest you look for a junkyard with old mopars. Find any old mopar convertible with visors that have disintegrated and pull out the pins. I bet they are the same. I'll dig thru my stuff. Had a set of C-body convertible visors a while back. I'll try to find them to see.

Just use a set of hardtop inner rods, cut off about 3/4" and taper the end, you'll never know the difference, plenty on Ebay

I was missing those pieces on my Dart sun visors too. I just cut the heads off of two 5/16x3" bolts and machined down the threaded ends so the rubber tips would slide on.
