Member ProSport has a super nice 69 Dart that is purple.He's usually in the race section.

did you say your bf was building a 72 RT clone? if so , tell him you can paint yours an incorrect color since he is building an incorrect clone.I am pretty sure they didnt make RTs in 72.

I believe purple was available in other years also, but only as a special order, a friend has a 1973 dodge van paint code 999, its purple with purple shag carpet throughout!

My very 1st Mopar was purple( a 68 GTX 440 4 sp 4.10 dana CONVERTIBLE) that I bought for $500 in 1975 from an individual by the name of Gary Parker which only needed a radator & I was driving it. This Car HOOKED me instantly on mopar & I've been like most of us Mopar only ever since. I sold it back to him ~2 years later for $200(please dont ask the details), he gave me either $10 or $20 down I forget which & I never saw the rest. I located his brother to try & track it down & He is currently doing life in prison in huntsville texas(he was from Wichita Falls) & I dont know what ever happened to the GTX
