I had started a topic on LED tail lights for my `68 Barracuda a few months ago. Unfortunately family issues took precedent and I had to put the project on hold. Ultimately my Wife lost her Mother in June. As we finally get back to our routine I finished the lights recently.

The assembly was covered in a previous post a few months ago, but here's the finished product. Total cost of materials was less than $50, but it IS labor intensive to make them one at a time. I also installed a LED-specific flasher relay I found on e-Bay. I also found a how-to on modifying a standard relay with a new resistor, but for $6 I bought the damn thing modified already.

To say I'm pleased is an understatement!

I also installed a set of H-4 Halogens with Halo's.

Thanks guys. It was a long, drawn out process that took forever to finish (I stared at those tail light housings daily for several months….) but I was happy with the outcome. Now I have to do a set for Al's Hemi Savoy (I haven't forgotten about ya!) and another set for a friends Barracuda.

BTW: That's Buddy, Shepherd/Ridgeback mix. He was chewing on a Deer Antler….. crack for dogs. up
