I have no working dash lights. Where are the ground locations on a 73 challenger. Should there be a ground strap to the body? Does the steering column have its own ground? Love these electric problems!

Tim you sure ain't getting any love today! first I'd pull the connector off of the headlight switch & jump fire to the terminal for the dash lights. www.mymopar.com will have it. the dash grounds thru the mounting screws that hold it in place. The column is grounded by a short pigtail with ring terminals on each end & one goes to one of the bolts in the heavy metal piece that holds the col up underneath & the other end goes to one of the mini vertical bolts that holds the column closer to the steering wheel. this might vary some from body style. (but the dash does ground seperately from its mounting screws to the frame skeleton).
