Anyone running electric cutouts on their Max Wedge? If so did you have to fabricate the adapter or does someone sell them? All of the electric cutouts I've seen have a 3 bolt flange and the factory MW has a 4 bolt square flange. Any help would be great!

You don't HAVE to mount the cut-outs directly to the collectors. Just move them back and use something like an adapter. Mine are behind the tranny cross member.

Or cut the 3 bolt flange off the cut-outs and weld on a 4 bolt.

Ryangtogtx, is this a street car or street/strip car? My car is street only, I don't do any tuning for open and closed. If I raced it I would check plugs and mph and make a jet change if needed. Electric cutouts are extremely fun, mine are from DMH.

I have had cut-outs on several different cars, including a couple that I ran in KOS. None of them needed different tunes.

shruggy

Mostly street but maybe a little strip once in a while. It does have a roll cage though. up

I run 3" cutouts, not electric though. Takes me less than 5 minutes to loosen 6 bolts, so I don't see the need. You can generally find a happy medium tune, but its gonna be a little rich on the street and a little lean at the track. I now have quick-jet-change fuel bowls, so last few times at the track I've made some jet adjustments, and found nearly a tenth over the street / corked up jetting.

The fun with electric cutouts is the stop light looks you get from curious onlookers when you push the button grin
