I have a dash that has been in the way since I bought the car all apart a few years ago. I have seen where people have built something simple to hold it upright to store it. Does anyone have any pics of such a contraption? thanks, jon

Wrap it up and hang it in some out of the way corner of your garage or whatever, anything sitting on the floor will be in the way eventually. twocents

A Little center support is always good, and height for the 'ole back comfort.

Get that car back together!!

My neighbor gave me this very basic adjustable angle iron stand that her late husband built for cutting long pieces of wood on a table saw or threading long pieces of pipe or something like that. I use it with my table saw sometimes and other uses too, turned out to be pretty handy for a guy who works by him self 99% of the time.

I used it to clamp my dash frame to when I built my dash.

Mine was only on it for few weeks as I did a rotisserie restoration in 10 months on my 71 challenger. I worked on it everyday for 10 months until it was finished.

Go work on your car and don't waste time building junk, I always look around for stuff I already have and try to keep jigs and stuff universal. Same when I set the car over the motor and trans, I used stuff I already had and did not waste time building anything.

I used vice grips to clamp it onto the angle iron, simple and fast. Life is short.
