Wondering if the ballist resister is used or nor with the Firecore plug n play?

Its dependent on your ignition box or ecu not distributor. So if you are using a Mopar box, you will need resistor. Unless you got the Ready to Run distributor, then you don't need it including the ignition box.

Shouldn't use the Ballast resistor, IIRC. I believe the module is similar to early GM HEI and those took 12V straight in.
