Help! I've been screwed.
Inline Tube just broke it off in me and I'm stuck with a disc brake front to rear brake line. My question is can I use this Line instead of a drum brake front to rear brake line? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Inline Tube has an integrity problem and the worst customer service on the planet. Use at your own risk. Whew, I feel better already.

there's the OE 3/16" brake line that goes from the drum splitter brass block or from the prop valve (whichever you have) rearward to the metal bracket in front of the rear axle where it connects to the neoprene flex line. More info needed

With effort, time and $$$ you can make anything work.

Or, you could order New lines from some other company. Not sure if it's worth the effort to sue in small claims over the ones you received.

How Complete is the brake line kit (what line or lines are included)?

If it's complete, Would "guess" that the hookup to the master cylinder should be near identical, or does this line only extend from the Proportioning / brake-safety valve to the block connection at the rear axle housing?

If it extends from the rear axle housing to the brake cylinder versus brake calipers, you may have to modify the lines to get them to fit or function.

Modification may be as simple as carefully re-bending lines, or you may need to bend and form new lines if the ones you have are not long enough. Or, perhaps caliper lines are rubber flex type, or have different size/type end fittings, which would be another issue entirely.

Do you have any photos of what you received or will be receiving?

That is precisely the line I am talking about. Is there a difference between drum brake and disc brake front to rear lines? My configuration is drum brakes front and rear. Can I use the front to rear line if all others are correct?

What Year and Vehicle is the brake line for? Is it a 1970 -74 Cuda?

Have you received the New lines?

Can you visually compare the New line to the current existing line you already have?

I switched from front drum to front disk brakes on my 70 Coronet. I know that there is no difference on the rear connection. I did order the set built for an adjustable proportioning valve but the tube from the P-valve to the manifold was a direct fit and the fittings were correct too. You could call a different manufacturer and ask if the pieces are the same. I purchased The Right Stuff lines for both fuel and brakes. Just for future reference, TRS is excellent both in product and customer service. I bought them through Summit, too, and they have a free return shipment policy for orders that were incorrectly filled and I have tested them on this. Class all the way.

I’m listening.

The line running from front to rear may only be different in length if it has a valve in it, in that case you would have gotten 2 lines.

Of course you still haven't said what car you are working on ...

running up my post count some more .

This is for a 1970 Cuda. I had the new front to back line installed and when I went to install my fuel lines I realized they were the wrong size. I checked the packing list I noticed they sent me the wrong brake line also. So I sent it back to in-line tube and they wouldn't except the brake line as a return because it had been installed (Even though it was their fault). I had them return that line to me and I'm hoping I can use it. I don't know what the difference between drum and disc brakes for that front to rear line is. It fit nicely just like the old one.
Appreciate your help.
