They are wicked fun. I like mine so much that I will not have another muscle car without them. I had a set of QTPs a few years ago and they leaked and failed several times. QTP was a pain to get any help from. I now have Doug's and they have been bulletproof. But the Doug's are huge and expensive.
On my Cuda, they gain me just about .2 in the 1/8, but they are even more fun on the street. You can pull into a car show with them open and everybody looks to see the "race car". Everybody wants to know about them and it is fun to fire it up once in a while and make everyone jump. Sometimes I just like to cruise with the car as quiet as possible and listen to the radio or talk to my passenger. And then there are the times I like to drive along, rev it up and kick car alarms. Tons of ways to play with them.
Get a set and start having fun.
