The fact youve had your S-Ks for 35 years is probably why they work so well, the crap out now is not as good. I will try another S-K but My pair from several years ago wasnt so hot.

After thinking more I'd cut 2 grooves in the end serrations (each side of course) at the tip but along the CL of the pliers instead of sideways like the staggered grooves that are already there in the pliers when they are mfr'd. I think that'd work awesome live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

71GTX471 top fuel 7 Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,893 Harriman NY	I have 2 pairs one set I bought when I was 17 they are DIAMALLOY made in USA,the second set I don't know where I got them but the are a much heavier set & better quality with no name on them & also have teeth inside the jaws,booth have wire cutters & rarely get used.I also have the KD set.
