obvious answer - take to service dealer

Almost looks like it is stuck in accessory/engine not running mode. I would try full cycle of start/stop. Turn off, get out of car, lock doors, walk away at least 100', walk back, un-lock and re-start.

If you have a spare key, swap and try with that one. Slight possibility the key battery is low.

Next would be to pull battery negative.

Even if one of the above works, may not be a bad idea to schedule an appointment with a dealer at a convenient time for diagnostic.

With my 2008 Ram, the idiot lights came on & the odometer stopped working.

After asking about it here, I checked the ABS sensors & the one on the rear differential had broken. In my case it was a cheap & easy fix.

Ive tried different key .
Same deal happened two weeks ago ,
I figured maybe somemthing was moist
with all the rain everyones getting.

But it came back - i know that i can clear it with
Pullin battery, or i assume. But there's an underlying
issue , has to be. Barry If its as dumb as an abs sensor,
Ill buy you some beers at Calisle ...
I just noticed i have a chewed up rear rotor
Are there brake sensors on these ?
I guess i gotta pop it on the lift ..

There are no brake pad sensors.
It appears that the vehicle is loosing bus communication or could be cluster itself. You would want to check for codes, my guess is your going to have a lot of lost communication codes.

Thanks for all the replies -
Did replace the rear rotors and pads last nite, i
Thought that mercedes would have implemented
the pad sensors, but not. I did pull and clean batt terminals.
Of course all worked well after.
I hocked a scan tool from the garage next door to my
office , no codes. Go figure.
Im pretty sure its just the ol' ladies negtive energy.
