TCI 9 1/2 inch convertor that went to 6000 behind my 528..

Only downfall is i am using the camshaft out of my 528 which was with 1.5 rockers and the specs were

intake lift 700 exhaust lift 715
duration 326 and 356
duration @50 286 and 306
112 degree centerline

This motor will be going in a (i know but its still mopar)1900lb 240" 4 link dragster with a 4.30 gear.

Just curious to see what some guesses are out there.

i really hope not..My 528 run 4.70s

Definitely in the 4's. Tough to say, but I would guess 4.50 ish .

But what do i know

you better think about getting a tighter convertor. it's going to stall alot higher now. should go 4.50s easy

a guy i know at our local track has a 582 profiler chev. on 4-link dragster that goes 4.50's. it's very difficult to pick up 2 tenths in the 1/8mi. at the et you're running. i'm guessing it has a glide. does it have a wing? sometimes those things like to haze the tires in high gear. if it works really well i could see 4.40's to 4.50's. maybe more carb?

We got anymore guesses or suggestions?

were these carbs on the 528? what mph did the 528 run?
