I just did this on the Demon. I used a cut off wheel on my grinder to cut the retainer and bearing off. Have to be extremely careful when you get close to the shaft so you don't knick it. New ones just press right on. I didn't need any heat at all.
I did look at a video of some guy who did a bearing replacement on a 9 inch on youtube. Took me about 2 hours to do it from start to finish.
