If memory serves me right, I thought this coil used a ballast with a lower resistance than stock. Not totally sure though. Somewhere I have one of those resistors..............

Wow, they still sell the Super Coil? I had one in my 440 Duster back in the late 80's!

yes, they still sell it. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/acc-140001/overview/ On the listing as a note- Notes: For points applications, the supplied 0.85 ohm ballast resistor must be used in conjunction with the vehicle's original ballast resistor, if so equipped.
