Hi all, I am a new owner of a 1970 RR. I bought it as a basket case but 98% complete, someone else started the restoration and quit. I will try to post pictures of the broadcast sheet and fender tag and if anyone wants to help decode I would appreciate that. I checked the dash vin, core support vin and rear trunk lip vin, all match to the title and broadcast sheet and fender tag and the trans as well. If anything isnt clear on the photos let me know I will type in the info.

Thanks

Jody

I wanted to make it B7 but I have been advised that would significantly reduce the value. Although my intention is not to sell the car when done, if I am forced to I would like it to be worth as much as possible. So I will probably keep it B5

Very good, it does have a rear defrost and everyhting else you say, but I have been told it is not supposed to have hood stipes what do you think?
Are you saying that somebody special ordered this car? As far as the decklid strip, I have seen that sold different ways, reflective and flat? Which to get?

I have a friend that wants me to restore his 1970 V code Road Runner. His IS a B7 car with a 4spd' 3:54 Dana also with 14" blue Steel wheels and dog dish wheels and N96. His has the plain taxi cab interior though
Almost a twin

Yours sounds real nice

It's not coded for V21 hood stripes.

Y14 just means someone sat down, picked out the options they wanted and placed an order for the car. There is nothing 'special' order or out of the ordinary about the car. It was ordered and built the way the buyer wanted. (back in the old days when you actually had choices on what you wanted in YOUR car)

I used a scanner to image my broadcast sheet. Works way better. I printed it on 8x10 photo paper so it is easy to read.
