The side clearance on my Comp steel rocker arms is 0.010 - 0.017". Is that adequate? Thanks!

Comp will not be anything but a waste of time--that is fine and will run great with zero issues--.017 would be perfect IMO work on the pairs by just moving hold downs etc to get what you need--if you loosen the bolt the hold downs will move left and right some--split it to get where you need to be

Thanks everyone, the instructions that came with the Comp Cams rockers say minimum of 0.030". This seems really loose to me and would require a lot of grinding on the hold downs or spacers.

That is fine if that is what they say--won't hurt a thing--wider makes noise but no harm Too tight and then ya got trouble
No way to set up a Mop with adjustables of any brand w/o working it over, grinding shimming etc If you are not "cheating" the roller to valve tip to get room for the pushrod by the port you just plain have it too easy
