Also may tend to follow truck ruts or other pavement features more.
I have 315 front tires and on badly rutted roads you need to keep both hands on the wheel.

what is the effect on steering if your front tires are too large? would it serve to magnify any steering issues? You would then find that your steering is now controlled more by your right foot, if you have sufficent HP. HaHaHa!!! I noticed that! extremely frightening!

A simple thing to remember regarding tire contact patches:
"Tall" tires (~55-60-65-70 series) will have a longer tire patch and want to drive/accelerate better going straight.
"Short" tires (~50-45-40-35 series) will have a wider tire patch and want to drive/handle better in the corners.
