What are any experiences with real high end pads and carbon ceramic rotors???

Makes a HEMI look cheap to build, the GTR forum talks about putting $24,000 brake conversion kits on their cars and then not liking it so they change to something else. Money seems like nothing to those guys...Tim

they are out of japan and are very highly praised! Used on a ton of high end import builds. Pricey..yep.

I'd buy them if they were the right pad for my combo.

I really like the Ferodo pads for the money.

Have installed ceramic pads only(not rotors) on our Challenger front discs. Yea, no more filthy wheels and with good braking action. Installing 15/16th MC, as is a no power brake car helped a lot. Pads however were close to a C note in price.

I was looking at spending about $2K each to adapt carbon ceramic rotors to my 68 charger, then its another $1.5K each for calipers and pads...a little more than a C note...
