340_Dart OP top fuel Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,745 Maryland	What's everyone running? I've been squirreling away parts for my 4.125" BPE crank 427" motor (R1A based build) and came across a set of clevite MS-540H bearings new in the box for half of their new cost. Obviously final oil clearance dictates if they will work for my situation, but has anyone else has any dealings with them? They appear to be a 1/2 groove bearing. My previous 408 used speed pro 3/4 groove bearings, which worked well in my 360 main block. What's everyone run in their 340 main engines? Thanks http://m.summitracing.com/parts/cle-ms540h

VG423 member V Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 9 Australia Qld	My old 340 mains 4.00 stroke engine ran Hughes Hug 4002 1/2 groove tri metal bearings. My new BPE 4.125 (360 mains) was supplied with clevite MS-1266 P full groove bearings.
