And is bright blue met. Is that the same blue as 69 to 72 B5 blue?

I don't think so.

Some numbers stay the same, some don't. Y2 stays the same between years, but bright blue does not. help

the formula (& code) for "bright blue metallic" changed just about every year

"8" - 1967
"Q" - 1968
(E)B5 - 1969 & 1970
GB5 - 1971, 1972 & 1973
KB5 - 1974 & 1975
MB5 - 1976
NB5 - 1977
