Just started replacing my front stock disc with Willwood kit this is the street vented rotor kit. On bathroom scale the stock stuff was 37 pounds on one side.stock two piece rotor. The Willwood is 16.5 lbs per side. So 20.5 pounds per side for a total of 41 lbs savings off the front.

That is IMPRESSIVE! What kind of car just out of curiousity?

I was going to do Wilwoods street kit at all 4 corners on my car this year but heard a lot about them dragging, and figured I'd save my money for now...But those weight savings are hard to ignore!!

Mshred, I put Wilwoods all around on my Dart and weighed the results. It's true! I believe mine drag a bit, but don't really think it is real significant. A friend of mine has Strange brakes on his Avenger and they will roll for a long time. Either way my car picked up some because of the weight savings and stops MUCH better now.

Better get inside Ma. Looks like a storm's comin'.

Did this swap on my '63 (actually from drums to vented discs) and very happy with the results!

Over 500 miles and no issues with drag.

My Strange front brakes were just over 29.5 lbs and took off just over 50 lbs.

It's a challenger
Just rebuilt the front end with tubular upper control arms, adjustible strut rods and poly lower control arm bushings
Hopefully get it aligned by the end of the week so I can drive it and try the new brakes
