You'll definitely get a lot of opinions on this question. My experience is I've been running them for about 10 years on different combos. All roller cams and I've had good luck with them. Never broke any. My current setup is a .740 lift roller exh duration is 300 deg and she turns 7000 rpm all day. Ran them with the .690 comp for years. Not sure on the exact spring pressure but I do know they are the comp pac. springs. I'm guessing 650 - 700lbs open. Good spring for the $$.

On a related note, I would recommend having full time oiling to the rocker shafts once the spring pressures get over 350 pounds to reduce the chance of galling.

I have the number four cam journal gooved on all my roller cams that are not grooved already to oil the rocker full time and then use a restrictor sized as needed to prevent flooding the top end Full time oiling to the rocker arms helps cool the valve springs besides preventing galling on extruded aluminum rocker arms

373# open, standard cam bearings, 40 psi at 4900 rpm. Take your pick of the cause, this was the result.
