A while back I pm'd some members trying to get pictures/dimensions of the panels. Said they would, but I never heard back. I went ahead and contacted some injection molding places anyways. After a couple rough quotes of $100k for the molds (I didn't ask if that was for one side, or both) I pretty much let it drop. But, I'd still be interested in detailed pictures and rough dimensions, you know, for science

One of the problems with 3D printing is the overall size that most printers will do is probably smaller than the panels.
Also the printed surface isn't always nice and smooth like you'd get from an injected part.
If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

Also the printed surface isn't always nice and smooth like you'd get from an injected part. I hear you...but technology moves on, I'm guessing it's just a matter of time? What can be done today is light years on from the stereolithography parts we used to do - even on home machines. Anyway, here's hoping..
