LOL. I hear ya. I usually like having Matt around when I fire up a new build but he has a girlfriend now if you know what I mean. By time I fired it up, checked for leaks, set the timing, and did my routine gauge checking I was running for the door.

I am still having throttle problems. What throttle cable are you using? I tried the Lokar braided stainless and it moves around too much.

Like I said my throttle set-up is pretty basic on this car. A stock type cable from pedal thru firewall and a mopar type hold-down that uses two of the carb bolts. I bought this set-up from Jegs or Summit and it gives me all the adjustment you will need. The only thing I will add is that sometimes you have to think outside the box and change where the cable hooks to the carb

Thanks again Randy for the cam. Not many guys that you don't know are going to walk up to you at a race and hand you a FREE roller cam. If possible please PM me your phone number as I would really like to at least buy you lunch one of these days. I lost some of my saved PM's during the websites change-over. I put the exhaust back on it yesterday so my set-up is the same as it was last season. Hope to make some hits this weekend.
