Hi. Do you think there would be any problems brakes or anything getting hot if I used unvented solid wheels? Car is street driven, beat up 383 RR with original drum brakes.

I want to try something and was looking at Wheel Vintiques smoothie wheel. It looks like an EOM wheel for a vintage pickup, and street rod guys use them, I think. Thanks.

68 Roadrunner. 383 4-spd. Beat up.

I would say you wont have a problem. If so I saw a pic where a guy added a 90 deg ear fabbed fitting to the backing plate(s) to catch air

only problem is finding the lug studs when you are trying to install them on the car

I blame them for trashing the rotors on my 89 Ram van in less than 15000 miles- they over heated pulling our pop up down out of the Smokey Mts......
