As I posted earlier, my '67 Fury 318 stalled out on Christmas eve and I traced the problem to no fuel reaching the carburetor. I had put gas in it earlier that evening and the service station pump seemed abnormal. It kept stopping and pumping slowly so I do not know if the gas was the problem. I removed the cars fuel tank and when I drained the gas it looked ok. I replaced the sock strainer on the sending unit, relaced the fuel pump, filter and all of the rubber hoses. The only thing I found wrong was that one of the vent rubber hoses was split and leaking. I don't know if that could have caused my problem or not.
I have been using the CD-2 lead substitute as directed in the gas. Could that have plugged something up? The car seems to be running fine now. Thanks for any info.
