I finally have the bottom side of my Challenger ready to paint. My garage heater has exposed flame so I can not run it while painting. My plan was to heat the garage up very warm, shut off the heater and then spray the self etching primer and later the paint. If the garage cools dowm too much while the primer and later the paint is drying will this cause a problem? What is the coolest the temp can be while drying and not cause problems?

Thanks

Thanks

All depends on the paint and primer. Catalyzed paints will dry any way. Make sure the paint is in the room With the car so you don't have a big temp difference between the two. Also as the room gets cooler you can't spray it as heavy without it having runs in it. Don't forget the pilot light on you heater as well.

I start to get concerned at anything below 60. I would take all possible measures to NOT spray below 55.

and you want to make sure you use the right reducer for the temp. Cold temps require a FAST reducer.

Get 4 of the electric 1500 watt plug in heaters.
Run them when you tun off the gas heater.
They will keep the heat in the garage a little
longer. Been working good for us for many years
now.

Snap your neck, mega G-force launch, is all I want!
