jerseybud mopar J Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 684 Maine	Someone probably got confused and told you there is a bad 5.9 block, which there is (some people say a certain casting # cracks) but its the diesel . Never heard anything bad about the 5.9 gasser except on mileage

Anonymous OP Unregistered A	the guy at the machine shop told me about it he said he wasnt shure but for me to check didnt wana put alot of money in a motor for it to come apart because of that

The main differance is they have a boss to mount a crank sensor and the oil passage to the heads is not drilled out.
