I've been putting my 47 desoto back together and I'm having problems getting the glass back in the door. The track has the rollers on both ends and it fits into the vertical tracks in the door. It seems no matter which way I try to put it in it does not want to go. What's the secret to getting it back together?

When my 48 Plymouth had the original window stuff, I believe the track at the back of the door has adjusting bolts. You need to loosen the track and slide it away from the window in order to get the window into proper position, the slide the track back into position and adjust accordingly.

Be thankful your tracks, rollers, and the roller retaining springs are still present and in working order! Most are not. Gene

Thank you! It's a big relief to get some help I've been struggling. Everything was there when I bought the car however the passenger side window track was rusted and fell apart. I had to engineer a new one.
