Looking through the pinion angle thread gave me a headache, so I'd like to provide a helpful hint for most of you fine folks. If you hold down the alt/option key and hit the "0" key on your keyboard, you can use the degree character. (At least I can; if you can't then too bad) See: 4 º, there it is... 4 º, there it is again... no magic involved. One more time ...4 º So stop using * instead of º, you look like idiots. You're Welcome! Warning: Above post may contain good-natured ribbing, sarcasm and general smart-assery. Don't get your knickers in a knot. It's all in good fun.

Another way to get the degree symbol, is to hold down the ALT key, and type 167. 4º

Doesn't work for me. Someone else told me the "degree" key was beside the "any" key but I haven't been able to find it.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
