I hate to be one of those guys that dreams about what I should build next and then , never do

I have a couple ideas in my head , got rid of several things that had lost interest in and here is a couple ideas

#1 would be a copy of the NHRA safety safari wagon , I may have located one .Its not the exact year but close enough

I'm not going to spend a bunch on the project , its going to be a basic scuff and shoot paint job if I do do it , interior would be basic and cheap limited suspension mods is my basic plan

I have Gasser madness, I've always thought they were neat ..You see very few Mopars done , and there is only so many years that have the correct era to hit it right plus, too new the two doors would be too expensive to cut up ..

This is sitting local in a yard here and I like it , I can see it with a straight axle and the rear wheel wells cut out with pie crust wide white slicks in the back, it would get no paint work ..I'd like a little hemi but that might make the project a money pit so ,,318 ?

I got 2 more Plymouths from the from the same guy. One is a 4 door and the other is a coupe. They would make a cool gasser I always wanted to do a 4 door gasser. But I think they are little rough. But the price is right.

Big dad, take a look at this for ideas and hints.

BTW, the car behind it sure looks familiar.
If that's a '40, I sure could use the molding along the edge of the left hood side. It got 'lost' during the move....

If i did a gasser

64-65 Valiant

53,54,55,56 or maybe a 61 Plymouth

Anything else just does not have the right looks for me , the 61 would be a stretch but, could get it cheap due to fact no one else would want one

Of all your ideas here I like the 55-56 Gasser idea by far! Mine would have to be a hardtop like the one you missed out on. My brother had an identical car in 1965!

One of the cars I remember from the day was a guy with an original 55 or 56 convertible. They had swapped in a straight axle and a 340 4 speed and it truly did run gas class. One of my favorite cars from back then. Car is a one owner and is unfortunately currently restored to original.

Saw this on the HAMB too.Looked like an awesome car for the $ !'55's are cool, and the '56's are really cool with just a bit more fin. What about a'49/'50 business coupe?read > Honker?I saw the original Ramchargers Honker @ the Woodward dream cruise this past Aug.The next weekend I saw and heard it at the All Hemi Reunion in Ohio. Those funky looking megaphone exhaust pipes sounded very unique and very cool!Do you want it to be a tall gasser or low like the Ford you posted?I like them both low and high, but a straight axle I refer a high attitude.A'66/'67 B body high-rear wheels under the low wheel opening- with a straight axle is badd !!

I think an altered wheel base 2 door mid 50s Mopar wagon would be cool. 413 short ram crossrams....straight axle...loose the front bumper. Yep, probably the only one, or very few of those built. Gene

I like the wagon above

I do dream way to far ahead

I bought this 37 willys sedan a few years back and planed to make it into a sedan delivery but now I am thinking about building a gasser out of it, something like the one below Ron....
