I bought mine from this vendor at a show.http://www.limitedparts.ca/index.php?alias=70-74-E-Body-Louvers-&lang=eng
They are the same ones as Herbs sells. I love it!! Fit and finish is fantastic!
Canadian's can get them from Neil at http://www.classicmodernperformance.com/

The ones I make lay nice and even. I test fit each of them b4 shipping.

Also, the louvers and nice and parallel to each other. They are not heat warped from all the welding like some other on the market.

Resto Rick www.restorick.com has some cudas in stock.

I have some Challenger ones in stock email me at domingo426@gmail.com if you are interested in the Challenger ones.

Im not gonna be making more of these...once my remaining stock is gone...its gone!

This is a blast from the past, the pics from the other thread are gone. For reference here's the Gregory louvers on my car.

I also got one repro, but i dont know from where it comes..It looks like crap.

Dont know have to fix it,its alot of air between the corners of the louver and roof..

So there are 2 different styles of louvers, one for challenger and one for cuda??

Im afraid the paint will crack/get damage if i try the "tweaking" method..

Anyone have a bright idea of how to make it fit better..

Here are some pictures..

71redcuda - The louvers for cudas and challengers are different. Maybe you bought Challenger louvers by mistake? Those look awfully wide on your cuda.

I dont know,maby

When i bought the car this louver was on..

But i can only agree it looks very wide. Is it possible to look for anything specific to recognice if its a cuda or challenger louver?

Is it a smaller distance between the roof-brackets on a louver for cuda than it is on a challenger louver???

thanks,

Nicklas-Sweden

Those are definitely Challenger louvers, time to sell them and pick up the Cuda version.

My Gregory louvers are nice.. but yeah, the corners don't touch the body. I'd say they sit up about 1/4" at the worst points. Overall very nice though. The first set I got shipped to me were either damaged or were a really bad set. Gregory said they were damaged and a claim was filed, but the shipping box was so sturdy, I couldn't see how the shipping co. could have damaged them...

Gregory also swore up and down the originals didn't have chrome hardware and I knew that was BS. I bought the Year One hardware and kinda thought it was ridiculous to deal with the situation the way he did....but oh well. Glad someone else is making the parts now.

Exact same experience here, 1st set was really bad, also claimed it was shipping damage. But it didn't look that way to me, and UPS wouldn't cover the "damage".

He did send another set, but as you can see, not the greatest fit at the corners.

Yeah, same here. They wouldn't cover the damage and he didn't seem upset about it. Just sent me another set. Like he'd been through the same scenario many times.

Call Herb's Parts and get the Limited Parts Industries louvers. We looked at what was available and decided they were the best. You get what you pay for, plus the price has gone down quite a bit. If I can figure how to post a picture, I will show you.
