I think the subject line says it all. Last week end, first time out this year. Ran a new PB of 9.29 @ 148 on a basically un-prepped track. Over the winter I o'hauled the trans and had the converter tightened up a bit. Installed Viking Crusader shocks in front of the rear axle. Also Viking regular DA's in the front. I adjusted them to the recommended starting setting and never touched them all day. Traction was never an issue all day until the last pass. Cant wait to try it out on a race day with the proper prep. This was with 17lbs of boost. Left the line at 10 lbs. 60 ft was a weak 1.40. The 1/8 was 5.98. 1.80 first gear, 3.23 rear and a 30 inch tire. I purchased the shocks direct

This is the perfect example of a properly matched combination. The 60' maybe considered weak, but it saves the 8.75 from abuse and from then on it comes on like a train. This could be a great Super Gas (9.90) combo. Good Job!!!!!

Just back from TMP for the OSCA season opener. Car ran a NEW BEST of 8.999! Broke out by .001 in the second round, but car ran awesome. Sunday made it to the final round, but had to settle for #2. Never had the hood off all week-end except for the tech inspection. This combo is AWESOME! Also new best MPH of 149.50. 60 ft 1.364

Great stuff Dave. We all knew 8 seconds was around the corner and you didn't waist any time getting there. How much lower do you think you can go?
