100 RPM off ????!!! give a guy a break !!!Not all electric tachs are accurate I've seen a thousnad RPM lower on one of the original high dollar Autometer race tahcs compared to a Jones Motorola tach drive mecahnical tach at 7000 RPM I'm glad to hear that some of the lesser known converter guys can get there products close to accurate Good weather could possibly make 100 RPM differences on stall speed (mods please remove steak offer )

Glad to hear you are happy with this converter. I see where some have good luck with a converter company and some dont as you hear that alot. I have used 3 Dynamic converters and all worked great in our cars. But I guess no one is perfect. I have not used PTC but most seem to like them so I wish you good luck and I am glad the PTC converter works good for you. Ron

Went to test tonight - PTC NAILED it. Converter works perfect . Car pulled like a mule all the way down track . I had some hooking probs , like usual,, but Ive never noticed the car pinning me in the seat at the end of the track like this . I had all kinds of problems with the car tonight--glad I went to "test-n-tune" ! So i need to sort all that out and get some good air to test again I think i found a rear shock setting the car likes (stiffer) --it picked up about a tenth from the previous 2 runs

How about this for a dynamic story?
Many years ago when I switched from racing Chevy to mopar I was building an engine. I knew I was pressed for time to make a race date. I would need a good mopar converter to go behind my new mill. Heard from a few guys that dynamic was ok. Called up, and told the over anxious sales guy I wanted a converter and needed to know how long to get one. He said 2 weeks to make, and whatever shipping time. I asked if i could pay now for my place in line, and when I dyno the motor give you the info. To which he replied, "absolutely, we do that all the time". Perfect,,, I thought.
One week later a converter shows up on my door from guess who. Motor has yet to be dynoed, car weight undetermined, no provision for mid plate, essentially not one piece of information from me necessary to build a converter.
When I confronted them about it, all they would say is, "just try it man, we know what we're doing". No anti balloon plate on this enormous converter either. Had to tell them to take it back, or I'd have my card company deal with it.
PTC is straight shooting, accurate, and fast. What more could you ask for?
