Hi guys I got everything to assemble my 440(first big block build) and I was wondering what the horsepower/tq will be? Heres the set up:

-440 with 6pack pistons,rods,forged crank, deck milled, 10.3 compression

-Solid roller camshaft
Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 243/249
Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .578/.585
LSA/ICL: 110/106

-Heavy ported 213 heads with stock valves(not sure on the flow)

-Street dominator intake with a thermoquad or holley 950DP

-2" primary, 3.5" collector fenderwell headers

Keep in mind im at 5500ft and would love to run in the 12s in my 3250lb dart with a 4500 stall and 3.73 gears!

Thanks drive

??? if you were down here around sea level you'd be way into the 11's. Not sure how much the elevation kills but you should be in the 12's I'd think. I don't have much more than you and I'm in the low 11's in a heavier car.

Ft Collins is officially 5003 ft, Bandimere is at 5800 ft. At Bandimere you're going to lose a solid 20% over sea level. I've run this calc many times.

I don't see a ported 213 going much over 265cfm, meaning roughly 550 hp maximum. I have a pair and it seems they have ports on the small side, even though they're supposed to be the same as 346s and everything after that.

A real 10.3:1 compression ratio is going to give you problems with the 91 octane Premium gas available at the pump and iron heads.

But multiply 550 x 0.8 and you get 440hp. That's the maximum I think you'd see on a dyno at that altitude.
