I purchasdd this block with the following on the EIC Pad D440 U 11 15 HP. The block has these casting # 2536430 8 Casting date is 8 19 67, now on the bottom of block not by the motor mount but on right side bottom i have these # PT440 823010890.Any one out there knows what i have? Thank YOU.

Just a basic 68 model year 440 Magnum cast on August 16th 1967 & assembled on November 15th 1967....It might/might not have a VIN number stamped into the rough cast iron on the bellhousing flange area near the oil pressure sending unit as shown it the picture....
BTW PT = Trenton engine plant
440=????
8 = ??? Cylinders??
Next four digits = Engine assy date 10,000 day calander 2301 = Nov 15th 1967
Next four digits are the # engine assembled that day 0890 890th engine of the day...
