I got it in a four car deal, and can't decide what to do with it. 1969 Fury II The good: almost perfect front clip, fenders, hood, grille, bumper are all very nice. The bad: 318 auto on the column, odometer reads 83,XXX, owner says it has 183,XXX miles, has been sitting since 1983. The ugly: rusty fred flintstone floors, trunk, lower quarters, dutchman panel, had a family of raccoons or something living in it, interior is trashed.

We dig coal!

What would you do with this 69 Fury?

Do you NEED to do anything with it?

PS I went for the ice cream

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

I would like to keep the rear axle, and my four roller tires that are on it now. Other than that, No, I don't really NEED to do anything with it, other than find it a new home, in whole or part. I got about $300 bucks in it, going to get it and bringing it back.

ice cream

I'd say sell it to someone who will love it and make it run like it should. There prolly isn't many parts you could use off of it anyway. Just get your money back or make some, and save the time of working with rusty bolts, OR,

If it were me, I would turn it into a sleeper, but i drag race everything i own. I'd put a 440/727 and a little nitrous on that beast, keep the same interior exterior as now. Go blow someones doors off!!!!

Once the 8.75 is out, you'll sell odd parts here or there. You'll recoup after labor, and getting the word out. What's your time worth?

The demo guys discriminate. They'll hmmm and hah about rust spots, especially around the perches. A pinch framer is not most desirable.

Best sell it to a C-body guy whole, possibly for cop or cop clone sedan parts.

What are the other three? Pics!

The way I look at it theres some decent sheetmetal and its not a big block car so its not worth it to part out because you wont get much for hardly any of the parts. Sell it to a C body guy, if I had a nice big block car with a smashed or rotted front clip Id pick it up

Now I need to pin those needles, got to feel that heat

You'd probably get more if you parted it out. But think of the hassle, just unload the whole car and be done.

Give it back to the earth...If you already have it try and sell what you can, otherwise I'd vote for the Demo Derby.

Place if for sale with a price of $7,000. Justify the price by pointing out the hemi Charger that sold on Barret Jag-Hoff for $140,000. Include terms like: "All original, wont last long, good hotrod, streetrod or musclecar project" Yea baby!

Keep old mopars alive.

sorry, I'm not on C bodies so really dunno... IS THERE REALLY A MARKET FOR THOSE ?

IF yes, then I guess front clip should it be the same for two doors, right? ( what supposelly should it be more desireable )... were they made two doors ?

I don't think there are sheet metal available yet for those... or yes ?

I can't post an opinion, just posting questions to be answered before get a decision. I have seen worst conditions cars being perfectly restored without problems

interior pics will be nice though! ( with or without racoons )

As much as I REALLY like 69 Furies, that one's not really worth much, UNLESS you find somebody who wants to build a cop car clone and even then it may be too far gone.

Im thinking that its gotta have SOME pieces that will interchange with other A,B,C,E bodies. Post over at http://www.cbodydrydock.com/news.php and see if they dont give you some ideas of whats desireable on that car.

Ive been eyeballing a 71 Plymouth Custom Suburban Wagon for a few years. Its got Disc brakes and spindles I can put on my 65 Fury III Wagon, and 8.75 rear and a 360 2v/727 combo.Electronic ignition setup/harness/box and distributor

Then theres the 71 T AND C Wagon im waiting for a guy to get off of,and give to me when hes done with it. No motor/tranny,but again the Disc Brakes/Spindles,8.75 Rear.

That car you have has good parts potential to the right group of people.

If you have the luck I have, youll have that car sitting around, finally get tired of seeing it and just give it away. 2 or 3 months later, youll find another car your really interested in and need parts, end up doing research only to find out the car you gave away has that expensive part you need.

If you don't like c's that's you, but why screw over some one that does it is still a mopar and some one would gladly pay what is already invested. It may look like junk to some and gold to others.I went for the ice cream too.

Hi,

if it would bein europe: It would survive and would be loved.

Please sell it to a c-body guy who has enough space to just simply keep it.

Maybe it has to sit another 25 years till it will be really collectible

Carsten

The grille and front sheetmetal are nice, a C-body guy would love to have it....I know...I used to be one!

List it on cbodydrydock.com , you'll find someone to take it off your hands.
