Sanden compressor with 134A freon.
It's been in car for 3+ years and is working but not blowing ice cold.
I decided to add 1 can of 134, it had red dye and leak sealer in it also.

When I was testing the gauge adapter I accidentally let some freon out, so the 1 can didn't bring the pressure up to 50lbs, stopped at 30lbs when can was empty.

I bought 2 more cans of straight freon, no sealant or dye.  Neither can would draw into the system.  The gauge sits rock steady at 30lbs and the can doesn't get cold.

Is it possible the 1st can of freon with the "leak sealer" blocked the inlet valve so the system won't charge?

Any thoughts on where I do next?

Thx

did you have the vehicle running and the a.c. turned on? it will not just suck it in. the compressor needs to be running to draw it in.

You might try putting the charge can in hot water while charging.

Car was running with AC on and fan on high.
I even sat the can on the exhaust to heat it up, but still no luck.

As mentioned, it worked fine with the 1st can with the sealer.
When I tried to add another can a week later, it does nothing.
