Hi guys I have a 70 charger I'm looking on doing a mini tubs. I've seen some posts on how you guys did yours but two questions, like did you take the inner wheel well all the way flush with the frame or did you leave the lip of the frame rail? what size rims are you guys running 10 inch 12 inch? and with what tire on a 10 inch or 12 inch and did you trim or roll the outer wheel opening.
any replies will be greatly appreciated as I planned to do this project in the next few weeks

A 10" wheel fits a stock tub so 12's would be in order with mini tubs. The general concensus seems to be to take them right to the rail.

my 68 charger is right to the rail with a stock width dana 60 i have a 31 x 16.50 tire under it witha 7 1/4 back space wheel and had to trim the ft edge of the quarter panel opening !!!!

572, what width wheel are you using? Also what kind of front wheel do you have? I thought I saw a pic. of your car some where and I didn't recognize the wheel. Always liked your car.

right now i have a 12 " wide trackstar wheel on the rear i cut the moser dana 60 down 1 1/2 inch on each side i think if i remember right it has a 5 " back space now !! years ago u could buy the cenerline autodrag with a 7 1/4 back space with 12" wide wheel on a stock houseing width !!!! my frt wheels are a nother story i BROKE 3 sets of ft wheels ? put my old alumistars back on the frt i BROKE the frt track stars , i BROKE the 1 piece billet trackstars and i BROKE a set of the rt-s wheels weld told me i can't break !!!!!!!
