Been wondering about which way to go. Have 70 dart with 340, i have just stock 73 style manifolds. Anyone using the shorty's ? If so what kind of power gain did you get. I know the shorty's wont get the power increase like the full length . At least the shorty's would be an improvement over the stock. Not too sure if i want the full lenght due to clearance. TTI'S are iout if the question, too much money

Only small block shorties I know of are for street rods w/rack and pinion steering.

Try Doug's headers; not sure of fittment in an a-body.

Who makes shorties that will fit small block A bodies? Spitfire used to but that guys practices were deemed criminal. (Laysons sells his type of header) Just because someone makes a header that will bolt to your head doesnt mean it will fit your car- ESPECIALLY A bodies.

Keep old mopars alive.

hedman makes some shorties, but you have to be really creative on the downpipe.

why not use cheapie full length hedmans? the ones on my M body (that go under the steering) fit great, and I have yet to crush a tube, and my car sits 1" lower than stock in front.

The Dougs hang up high like the TTIs. There are a lot of happy people out there running the Dougs:
